Polychrome Sounds presents Flamingods (UK) / The Germans from Germany (Ger)

ACUD, Veteranenstraße 21, 10119 Berlin, Germany

This is too last minute even for me, but if you read this like now, that’s where I recommend to go in about one hour. A five piece multi-instrumental band exploring noise, psychedelia, tribal and folk is pretty much what I feel like hearing tonite after too many hours of coding at my computer, and it’s always a pleasure to visit ACUD.

Berlin regular cultural program is slowing down in Summer, but not in the case of Spektrum, which will offer a full schedule of art/science/new media/hacking/sound experimentations and more goodies through July and August as well. Next date is performance night number seven, with a rich lineup that features the audiovisual project Noisefield by Jayson Haebich and Marcello Ruggiu, the media artist/programmer Jayson Haebich and a graphic performance by Umami Lab.

Moabiza #2

ZKU – Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik, Siemensstrasse 27, 10551 Berlin, Germany

I promised myself that if I do my homeworks and behave well for the rest of the week on Sunday afternoon I will allow myself a little holiday in Moabiza. I am likely to fall in love with projects that involve a visit to a non-hype side of the city, where most people I know and you know would not go otherwise, plus the visit in this case is really worth it as Moabiza offers good music – JD Zazie is currently preparing new material I am curious to hear, the whole line up including the dj set is great – and interesting food – this time no less than Polish singing cabbage by Kasia Justka!
